Joseph started work at the Indiana State Climate Office in August 2007. He is a temporary staff member handling iClimate's data requests, state summary, and miscellaneous other projects. He graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in May 2007 with a B.S. in meteorology. While at Penn State, Joseph worked with the Pennsylvania State Climate Office on a Soybean Rust project for the U.S. Department of Agriculture, a Pattern Recognition project for the PA Department of Transportation, and a Climate Inventory and Analysis for the National Park Service. He is familiar with a variety of datasets, including CoCoRaHS, COOP, CWOP, and ASOS. His meteorological interests revolve around data, specifically when applied to climatology and severe weather.
